About Christian Science<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our church is part of the Christian Science community in Gloucestershire.<\/p>

Christian Science is a faith based on the Bible and especially on the teachings and example of Jesus Christ. The Church of Christ, Scientist, to use the formal title of the denomination, was founded by Mary Baker Eddy in 1879 as ‘a church designed….to reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing’.\u00a0For the most concise statement on our core beliefs please click\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>

Also of interest may be the Tenets of Christian Science, which appear in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, on pp496-497. Click\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>
